Canstruction 04/25/2010
 
We were excited to be a part of an event that donates canned goods to Second Harvest Food Bank, a local food bank that collects and distributes food to over 600 non-profit partner agencies.  The efficient engineer (that's me) wanted to combine form and function with a building made out of the canned goods, aka canstruction.  With the help of Dana the Architect and Yasmin the Design Builder, we made it happen.  So what can you make out of 60 cans of olives, 12 cans of mushrooms, 10 boxes of spaghetti, 8 cans of tomato paste, 6 cans of tomato bisque and 4 bottles of Big House Red?  Check out the process and final results below.
